Communication was quite different during the Victorian era, when “calling on” someone meant stopping by in person. On Saturday, Jan. 14, Forest Home Farms will hold a free “calling card” making activity to learn about the history and traditions of this lost art. Call on the farm between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; admission is free.
