An at-risk man who was reported missing earlier today has been safely located, Walnut Creek police said.
Shane Sikes, 36, apparently walked away from a care facility in the 1700 block of Geary Road sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Friday.
Sikes was considered at-risk because he is recovering from a recent brain injury that has sometimes “significantly impaired” his vision,
according to police.
